I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem when using Chrome? Often pages won't load cleanly and then hang. Sometimes Chrome will open a dialogue box asking to kill or wait which tends to clear the problem but it soon reappears. It does not seem
to be a problem with IE but that is not as functional when it comes to cutting and pasting or posting photos.

Are you on Windows 10 David?

There have been a number of reports on the interwebby that it can cause stuff like this for Chrome. Not that anyone is accusing MicroSoft of any Skulduggery, of course!!

I've never had Chrome on either the iPad or MacBook. I thought the reflections would be distracting.

David - have you cleared your cache recently? Might make a difference.

    Cheers

Yes I do have Windows 10. The problem has only recently started so I expect its a Windows upgrade that that has caused the problem. I will try the cache.

I get it on Windows 7 too. Chrome does seem to get worse the longer it is installed clearing the cache does help a little but not solve it. Uninstall and reinstall is more effective. I sometimes think it is because it uses its own  software rather than add
ins to render some file types.
