LHD or RHD for continental touring?

When I window shop for motorhomes on eBay it is noticeable that good second user motorhomes are much cheaper there if they are left hand drive- if you are going to do a fair amount of continental touring, would the cheap price and convenience of driving
on the 'correct' side over there make up for having the steering on the 'wrong' side when pottering about in UK?
