Bailey Unicorn S2 Alarm System and CC Insurance
We have just taken delivery of a Bailey Unicorn S2 Barcelona. Yesterday I rang the CC to update my insurance. We had some discussion over the factory fitted alarm qualifying for the discount. It was agreed after some checking that it did apply as
it had a movement sensor. Today the documents arrived and it constantly mentions the need for a Tilt/Corner Steady alarm system. I have just come off a 25min call to the CC Insurance who couldn't answer the question and suggested I tried moving the van to
see if the alarm went off! I replied that this did not prove I had a Tilt/Corner Steady detector. I then asked to speak to someone from the Technical section. After some discussion with them and after it being suggested that I ask the Dealer they are now checking.
I am surprised that the CC does not know the answer to this question. The Unicorn is one of the bestselling caravans in the UK and they all are fitted with the Tracker alarm system.
