AA Warranty - any experience?

We bought our first caravan (second hand) back in March this year. Not knowing too much about these things, we elected to take out an AA warranty (provided by Motorway Direct) to cover us for any unforeseen issues.

Having just had the caravan serviced, a number of issues have been identified (mostly minor), but they include some damp under one of the windows and in the top corner. The garage have said they think the window seal needs replacing, and one of the silicone seals accross the top of the van (where the rear panel joins with the roof). The damp isnt excesive - its been caught early before any major damage has been caused. However, the warranty company are arguing that the window seal isnt covered as its not a permentant seal, and that the silicone seal would be expected to degrade over time, so isnt covered either.

Both of these arguements seem rediculous to me. I was wondering if anyone else has had any similar experience? Any advice greatly appreciated....
