Help for New Car

Hi I have just bought my first caravan (Swift Accord 570 2006) which has a MIRO of 1233kg and a MTPLM 1460kg.

I have a lease car through work where C02 emmissions are very important in working out how much the car costs me.  My current car Peugeot 508SW 1.6Hdi tows my caravan ok but it is due to be replaced in 5 months.

Any advice for a car that has good green credentials and can tow my caravan comfortably.
