Alko twin axle lock
Apologies if this is daft, but I've had a single axle for a few years (do a lot of caravanning) but have decided as the kids are growing fast to upgrade to a twin axle.
I haven't yet collected it (and will ask the dealer) but how do you actually put to Alko locks on. Whilst a video on the web shows you jacking it up and spinning the wheel, surely that means you have to let the break off. How do you then stop the caravan
rolling if you do that.
Similarly, what if you have to level that side of the caravan.
Apologies if this is daft, but just cannot figure it out in my head.

Apologies for the typos!

Paul - suggest you Google Lock 'n Level and have a look at the video on that website which will demonstrate an easy way to overcome the problems you correctly identify. Another factor to bear in mind is that if you have an AWD motor mover fitted, you probably
won't be able to get at your jacking points, so jacking by any other means is nigh-on impossible. As for stopping the van rolling - put chocks under the wheels on the other side.I have used the Lock 'n Level for about eighteen months now and think it's a brilliant piece of kit and well worth the money.

Thanks, yes I'm having a motor mover fitted. The Lock n Level has to stay under the wheels I presume when in storage or on the driveway etc as the wheels are on it?
At least I wasn't completely mad in my thinking - thank you.
I will press the dealer quite hard on how am I supposed to lock it then, before I drive off with the new van.
