Good site for long weekend plus dogs Yorkshire

Hi

We are looking at having a long weekend near the end of may and are new to caravanning so not up on what sites are good etc.  We are in Wakefield area and are thinking north Yorkshire or similar distance south.  Its more for just a get away and rest but
needs to except dogs, min of 3.  Im also looking for somewhere with dark sky’s to try some night photography.   Any suggestions please.
