In March 2012 I was towing my caravan along the A17 northwards, going to York Beechwood Grange CC site. I hit a huge pothole on the road, which dislodged my jockey wheel shaft. By the time I found a place to pull off the road, the pneumatic jockey wheel
tyre was wrecked. The helpful wardens at the site directed me to a caravan store not too far away- by Murphy's Law Alko had changed their jockey wheel, so that I had to buy the whole setup, rather than just the wheel/tyre. This is now just over a year later,
and the jockey wheel tyre only gets into action when moving the caravan to hitch up at home, and on site- not exactly heavy use. I was annoyed to notice when I hitched up for a weekend trip a few days ago that the year old lightly used tyre is starting to
craze! How annoying is that! Frown
