We have recently purchased a VW T5 LWB, but we are struggling to find out what the tyre pressure should be when fully loaded, any help would be appreciated

If you open the driver`s door then on the pillar by your left trouser pocket the tyre pressures are listed. If the list has gone missing they are repeated in the handbook. If the handbook has gone missing VWForum or MotorhomeFun both have good search options
which will give you the information. If I could do a link I would but Google will find them for you. The pressure tables are a bit of a blunt instrument as they refer to half and fully laden but your idea of fully laden might be quite different to that of white
van man, It`s worth getting your van onto a weighbridge and then interpolating the figures as the T5 responds to tyre pressure changes with noticable difference in fuel consumption, handling and road noise.Provided you stay within the manufacturers recommendations
its worth fiddling about with the pressure to find what suits you best.If you still have trouble finding the info. you want post your tyre spec. and chassis number on one of the other forums .

I found that the pressures for my motorhome as given by the dealer & handbook to be excessive. I contacted the manufacturer of my tyres, Continental, who happily gave me a full table of axle weights and corresponding tyre pressures for MY size & model of tyre. Much lower than the handbook and a much better ride. After all they are the ones that really know what their tyres should be set at not a generic guide for all makes/sizes of tyres. Regards, Roy
