CL's - 5 Van Limit
I am well aware of the statutory requirements and licensing of CL type sites and the restriction on the number of units allowed. However there has been concern expressed that we seem to be losing a number of CL's on a regular basis. I would imagine that
with the demands to have a electric points and perhaps toilet facilities the economics of running a CL must be a bit touch and go. Like with all things if you can scale up the economies seem to work out more advantagous. So my question is there any possiblity
the powers that be in Government would be sympathetic to raising 5 unit limit to 8 or 10 which might encourage the creation of more CL's. I appreciate that this would involve not only the Caravan Club but also other Clubs acting together to get a change in
the rules if in fact the Clubs themselves would support such a move.
