Non member sites

Can anyone explain the the advantages of being a club member?. I have been a member for years and have recently noticed the vast increase in non member sites having recently experienced a very disturbing incident where a dog owner took his dog into the shower
block to dry it under the hand dryer I did wonder if this person was a member or non member. Is this the future of the club?
