River fords
we have a ford near us at the side of Rufford park, been up this morning to take the dogs a walk and, lo and behold there is a car stuck in the ford, although there are signs saying road closed, also a barrier half way across the road. This isn't the first
time this as occurred and the car park attendant says he will not be the last today. How these drivers pass their driving test I don't know because the indications are they cannot read or use common sense. Last year there was one car in there and the water
was upto the roof, the drivers must think that cars float. Anyone got any ideas why people are so daft?

Because they think rules don't think they apply to them )f course in these circumstances somwone else will rescue me, sort me out and my
insurance will pay............Driving the M25 again yesterday I never cease to be amazed at entry and exit skills - third or fourth lane until the last minute and then indicate and in I come and up I go, sod you lot
entry the same, I'm coming in in front of you despite the fact there is nothing behind you and I want the outside lane immediately.
These are the sort that cause the accidents but are long gone when the consquences come through. Even saw someone on P plates on in the inside lane doing 30 mph and gripping the wheel grimly - I think it should be compulsory to have some tution on motorway
driving with a qualified instructor.0 -

The driver has probably followed the instructions of the satnav. This, I'm told often happens. People listen to the satnav rather than use common sense.

rescue the pupils from the coach which was in danger of capsize. The mind boggles! An investigation is to take place....0 -

During the recent floods there were cases of drivers ignoring road closed signs and if caught by the police then liable to being charged! Roads are closed for a reason!
As regards the driving through a Ford perhaps too busy adhering to the sat nav or they don't know what a Ford actually is! They know the sign but what is it.

Hmm. I would hazard a guess at stolen, joyride, dumped. Bit of a change from burning one out?

I'd prosecute him for carless driving at the very least, even reckless - endangering life multiplied by however many children were on the bus.
He certainly wouldn't be driving school buses anymore.
