Break ins at White Water storage facility
we returned our 'van today to White Water storage site today to be informed last Thursday there had been a number of break ins into vans and various items stolen. The figure of 10 'vans was mentioned. It was in the area of the 200's which is where our 'van would have been had we not been away in it.
White Water site itself is of course completely closed for upgrading/re furb.
security has now been stepped up since but we have lost confidence in the site and didn't leave our 'van there. Luckily were able to find somewhere else at very short notice. A motorhome owner was leaving to move his MH elsewhere as we arrived.
anybody that stores there who hasn't yet been contacted by the wardens or the club might wish to call and check on their 'van. The theives were spotted on caravan roofs so any damage may not be immediately apparent.
