What is the best way to check for the dreaded damp? We have looked at a good few MH's and and one or two have had a distict discolouration on the inside of the top lockers.

We have spotted this discolouration on so called 'prestige' models just a few years old.

We once had damp in a carvan (Swift) that was like 'acne' on the inside wall, and not mere discolouration.

I guess we need a decent damp meter but how much does a decent damp meter run to....
