Booking in advance

We are currently contemplating a return to Caravanning (with a motor-home this time) after many years away. One of the things that used to put us off was the ability to book multiple Club sites in advance meaning folk could book several sites for the same
period and then cancel the ones they didn't't want to use.

Often a site would fill up with 'ghost' bookings spoiling things for those who didn't do this.

This was in the days prior to the Club providing an on-line booking service and I am wondering if the on-line system prevent this from happening? as in does it detect if a member already has a booking for another site and prevent them from booking.

Or is this no longer a problem that it used to be many years ago.
