Our 2002 Lunar had its onboard tank at the back of the caravan & its drain was a simple ball valve ..... a bugger to get at though buried under the base of the wardrobe. But surely you'd have drained the water tank before you left each site Undecided

When we were considering buying a van with an onboard tank, ALL the manufacturers said that you can't travel with water in the tank. They are not baffled or properly supported for the load. Kind of defeats the object really although I guess quite useful
    in winter.

I was told that the tank on my 2016 Delta has a handle in the middle which you pull up to drain the water. It's like a very long plug. As I never use the tank, the water system allows you to buy pass it and just use water from the aquaroll,  I haven't tried
    it myself.

That's what my Coachman has now. PS If you've never used it, how do you know it all works?

Ring a Lunar dealer, and ask them - usually they are very helpful!  The guys in our local dealer's service department queue up to give me advice when I ask them questions about caravan technical issues!

Follow all the pipes from the tank and on one of them you should find a dump velve. It would normally be yellow lift it and turn hot taps on too allow air in to the system and water to flow out under the van. If your not sure what your looking for just google
caravan water dump valve in images should give you an idea. Looking at images of your van it looks like the tank is under the off side frount bed valve should be around there fixed too the floor. Good luck.

Not a Lunar, but our cold water tank has a bung in the base that you pull out from inside the tank.

The tank is accessed via a removable hatch on the top side of it.

If there was a lot of water in the tank I would, but the bung is only removed if you want to get out what the pump did not pump out.

Being only a 40 litre tank, it's not that deep if you do need to use a hand.

(MH purchase still under active consideration)

When you do finally work out how to drain the tank and I can't imagine it's rocket science, remember to open ALL your taps unless you can be sure you have removed all water from the pipes with the use of a floe or something similar. This will prevent ice causing damage over winter as the expanding ice will have somewhere to go.

Turn your sink taps on until it empties

I have a Lunar Delta 2016 the inboard tank is located under the nearside front bunk. You switch off the water function on the control panel then under the bunk is a handle which you pull up then open all taps by positioning the handle in the central
position not forgetting to drain the water heater offside front bunk move the yellow lever upright
