Visited Chieveley services last week and took great care to look for the directions for caravans as the previous visit I had missed them and had to drive through. This time my wife and I still saw no directions other than HGV left Cars right. We took the
car option. Having passed both the car parking and HGV parking without spotting any caravans we came across a large empty coach park (please note no signs for these also). It was occupied by a Landrover and speedboat and nothing else. As our stop was only
to use the loo's we joined the Landrover. I stayed with our outfit to look after the dog and within 2 minutes was approached by a very apologetic attendant who said If I didn't move he would for forced to issue a £100 ticket as he had just done with the Landrover.
I explained my wife had gone to the loo so would not be moving until she returned at which point to be fair he said ok but please be quick as it was his job to issue tickets. I then asked him where are outfits supposed to go and he said we of should go with
the HGV's. "There are no signs" I replied.  "I know" was his reply. "So how are we expected to know" I asked. "You just do" he said, at which point I requested the site managers number to complain.  He agreed and took me to the gents toilet block??? where
the number was printed on the wall. On returning to our outfit I made the call and had the same answers to my questions.  This to me is a totally unsatisfactory state of affairs and should be addressed. Any ideas short of blockading the site until someone
actually does something because how many have been fined as per the Landrover and boat?
