Eastbourne Air Show

If anyone is interested in a free airshow, the Eastbourne show is worth a look.

Staged on the (very elegant) sea front promenade, it will be held on 14 - 17 August this year (yes, 4 days!).

Check the programme on-line for expected displays, but last year we saw the Red Arrows do one of the most dramatic entrances that I've ever seen them make - low and in formation, over the town, crossing the crowd line and straight out to sea to start their
display.

There were plenty of other aircraft too, despite the weather being a bit iffy on the day that we went -  and it's all free!
