Hell Fire Caves
Hoping to visit these some time after Easter, and am wondering if anyone knows of a CL or similar reasonably close by.

Had to Google, the caves hadn't heard of them, Cholsey Grange would probably be the closest cl, but we have stayed at Laurel Cottage, listed under Aylesbury, lovely CL but a bit further to travel.

We stayed at Cholsey Grange, a good CL for the Chilterns, lots of lovely walks from the site. You should be able to visit the Hellfire Club easily from here also the setting for the Vicar of Dibley which is near the CL (beautiful area to explore.)

Thanks for all your suggestions. I will have a look at them and make my selection.

H&T, we've stayed there before, and know what a good site it is, so might be our best choise.
Peedee, Red Barn Fm has no electrics so won't suit us.
OD, the CL at Ibstone is Cholsey Grange. It's a bit dearer than we would pay for a CL, and also has metered electric.

Hello Nellie. We'd be delighted to host you. The Hell Fire caves are a popular destination, but by no means the only attraction around here! See our website for more info.. If you are keen on wildlife, birds (how many Red Kites do you want to see), walking
or simply enjoying a fab view I think you'll enjoy our site. Very few people exceed our 10 units per night (included in pitch fee) for the EHU, so unless you are running electric heating all night, you should be fine. Even if you do, it's just 15p/unit (cost
price - as per the rules!). Feel fre to give us a call or look at our
website where you can book online.0 -
Thanks for that. Will certainly consider your site when we finalise our trip.
