Any Doctor Who Fans left?

Am I alone in thinking the current series is pretty dreary? I thought the whole point of Doctor Who was to have a, fairly large, injection of humour but it seems completely missing. Whether its Peter Capaldi or the script or both but I have to say I am losing
interest. Even the lovely Gemma Coleman is not encouraging me to stay. I really liked Matt Smith as I thought he followed on in the tradition.
