Just read about this device that Landrover have developed.
I assumed it was just going to be another rear view camera to mount on the back of your caravan, but this one has a view similar to what you would see in your rear-view mirror, but seems to leave an image of your trailer in the 'rear view screen' so that you can easily judge how far back another car is or where you are in relation to that parking spot.
Looks pretty good to me.
