Hello everyone I have a 13W solar briefcase topray make, from maplins. It keeps the van battery charged nicely but when1 visited the van this afternoon,in bright sunshine,I found the surface of the charger was hot, almost too hot to touch. I have the surface
of the charger propped up in the front of the van, almost touching the inside of the window. I am concerned now about fire safety and potential melting of the plastic window panels. Is it usual for these things to get this hot? Should I just mount it a bit
further from the window?
