Cadac gas supply

We were thinkng about buying a Cadac - probably the Safari Chef.
Can this be connected to the BBQ outlet on the side of our caravan? We have a bulkhead mounted regulator. I don't want to have to take another gas bottle.
Would I just use a long length of of hose to connect?
Any thoughts on this particular model?
