Tyres for XC90

Our tyres are starting to look a bit thin on the Volvo XC90......they've done just over 20k miles (not unusual, with the tyres fitted on new cars, I understand).

So what would be good replacements?

We don't do off-roading and a couple of days snow per year won't determine the tyres I get for the other 363 days per year.

Some grip though would be good - don't want to waste the 4x4 capability.

I don't want them to be noisy on the road.

Obviously, long life would be nice.

Any suggestions?
