Toilette cassette seal

I posted a while ago about the slide-over flap on our cassette falling off when carrying the cassette to empty, as it was no longer held on by friction (I can't find the original thread to update it).

Well, I took the advice offered and replaced the lip seal. There is a good video on YouTube showing how to do it. The only tricky bit was getting the side clips off - I didn't realise that they were fixed to the top of some permanent rails, but got it sorted
in the end.

Gave the new seal a good coating of MrsH's best olive oil......and the jobs a good 'un!

The sliding flap is now secure and no doubt the seal is far better - so no more embarrassing dribbles

I recommend some latex gloves for the job though.....
