Car insurance warning.

So who asks when they get a car insurance quote "am I insured to tow a caravan or trailer behind the car on this policy?"



You bet I do every time and getting quotes for the Volvo I have just asked that question with Admiral and thier reply was "yes, no problem sir, it will only be insured 3rd party though and the caravans maximum length is 23feet". A quick check for my caravans
shipping length and it says 7.251metres. Google conversion says 23.78feet.   I got passed over to customer services and they have agreed if I go
ahead with the quote, they will accept my caravan behind my car. 

When I renewed my classic land rover policy last year, I was insured to tow any size caravan but a general purpose trailer I was limited to a certain size!
