New caravaner needs advice

I am returning to caravaning after many years and haven't things changed?

I have a 2014 Nissan Qashqai Mass in Service weight of 1666 and 1.6 deisel engine.  Normally 2 wheel drive but can go into 4.Thinking of buying a 2012 Elddis Avante MTPLM 1450.  Will this work?

Secondly it has a Truma "Stove" in it with blown air.  As my daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren aged 4&2 will be using it, I have been told that this stove can get hot and may burn the kids.  If this is the case is it easy
or worthwile to retrofit a Whale under blown air heater?
