Tents with motorhomes

I know that the Club allows a pup tent alongside a caravan or motorhome for someone to sleep in, but what is the official position on those large tents that motorhomes seem to erect at the side of them these days?

These cannot just be for sleeping in - they are a frame tent, and I thought tents weren't generally allowed on Club sites?
