Sadly giving up caravanning
After many many years of great holidays in various caravans we are having to stop. Due to my wifes worsening disability which means that climbing steps and using small wash area in our van are too difficult to accomplish. I have seen older vans that could
be possibly be hacked about (re-arranged) but not sure i wish to tackle that now at my age. The professional option would undoubtedly be expensive. Surely manufacturers dont save that much by having wider doors of about 21/22 inches. Of course, there is the
problem of ramp or lift access. Would appreciate any thoughts on the subject.
Why are we reluctant to let go ? Load of reasons ... Pleasing ourselves ... Getting to beautiful places that coach trips dont get to ... The list is almost endless for us.
