Ventura Caravan Club Edition sat nav

I bought a Snooper Ventura sat nav at the NEC in 2012, since then it has failed on me 3 times and has had to be returned to Performance Products where it has been replaced. Once again it has failed on me and I am currently awaiting a reply from the company
to see what actions if any they intend to take. Has anyone else had similar problems with this sat nav or have I just been unlucky. I am thinking about giving in and buying a Tom Tom.
