Ferries to/from Ireland in motorhome

Hi everyone,

we are two Aussies who will be travelling around UK & Ireland in a hired motorhome April-June 2014 which is 6.9 m long, 2.35m high. We are planning to take a ferry from Holyhead or Fishguard to Ireland returning from Larne to either Troon or Cairnyan. Any tricks or traps we should be aware of?
