B +E licence re-test

hi all

talking to my son today who has just passed hid HGV 2 and he was telling me that he will have to retest in five years for his hgv. he also said that we will have to take our B+E test again soon as part of a new goverment law.i am  to old at sixty to do a
retest plus money and  health i think this would make me give up caravaning.has any one else heard this ?   Dave
