There is a lot of light hearted banter on here about these two sides of the Pennines.

But let me just ask.....how many  times do you hear people exaggerating their 'Yorkshireness' (the professional Yorkshireman), people claiming to be from Yorkshire, that one of their ancestors was from Yorkshire, that they have lived there for a few years
and claim to be honory Yorkshire people.....even lying or exagerating about their 'Yorkshire heritage'......?

And how many do you hear claiming (admitting?) to be from Lancashire?
