Where do I find a list of National Trust properties where one can stay overnight with EHU, have seen it's possible at Stourhead, is there anywhere else? Thanks

We enjoyed a stay on the NT KIngston Lacy Estate site - a CL with no facilities near Wimbourne Minster.

I think that's because they are CC member only sites, being CLs. I also think that these are the only 2 that are owned by the NT. The others on the list are open to all NT members.

This one is on the CC sites list in Wales.  There are some nice sites in the Lakes but only for tent or campervan/ small motorhome use.

I think that peak time for for a couple there is about £13. Volunteer run. Site in two levels. Bottom a bit wooded and gloomy with hard standings. We used the top of the site which is more grass but very good ground. One of the sites that I don't mind the grass pitches as much as we were not walking on mud despite having had a fair bit of rain for several days prior to our arrival

The national trust link only shows the ones that you book direct with the National Trust and not the Club ones on National Trust Property.  We stayed at Houghton Mill which was great.  Also had a look at but not stayed at Ilam Park did try and move there
from the site we were on but it was full.  Have looked at staying at the Gold Mine one in Wales but not sure yet?

It's worth a visit, we haven't stayed there but visited the gold mine and had a go at panning. Smile Very attractive area, nice walks.

The Castle Ward site in NI is in a lovely spot too, alongside Strangford Lough.

We stayed there last year, and it's a great little site, with lots of bird life. It's run by volunteer wardens, and those who were there during our visit we exceedingly helpful. Think you'd like the site.

Dolaucothi - the Gold Mine - is lovely - good strong rules about control of dogs (or you will be asked to leave!).  Very friendly wardens - much enjoyed my stay there in June.

Write your comments here...We loved it.  There is a great pub over the hill too.  Begins with C - I think!

Another one is Tradegar House in South Wales (National Trust property with a CC site in the grounds).  Lots of other places to visit near to as well.

Hi not a national trust place but a lovely cl at Wortley Hall in the village of Wortley near Sheffield. Pitches in the well manicured gardens, has reasturant and bar in hall with a short walk into Wortley for local shops and pub and a historic hall what
    more can you ask for.
