Rowntree Park part 2

Well here we are in York for a long weekend and to watch the start of stage 2 of the Tour.

The site is full (as usual) but we are happy with our pitch...... apart from the noisy neighbours. The cans came out at lunchtime and the volume is increasing.

Been for a walk into York and rather disappointed by the lack of Tour atmosphere....a bit of bunting and a few yellow painted bikes. Maybe it will improve as Sunday  approaches.

Spotted a blue commemorative plaque to Lord B on an awning pitch over by the playground. Hey Lordy, some kids here say they miss annoying you each afternoon.....

Wardens were dressed in French outfits when we arrived and they are laying on coffee and croissants for breakfast tomorrow and a French themed evening.....nice!
