Advice sought on Club Membership

I have just purchased my first caravan yet despite reading lots of Google searches I am unsure as to which 'Club' to join, if any - hence would apprecaite the observations & thoughts of others.
Perhaps a little background information is helpful ....
I am new to caravanning but not to camping - however I'm getting a bit too old now for tents (46) hence my purchase of a caravan
Its not new, its an 8 yr old but in pristine condition.
I'm not looking at staying on larger sites but would prefer the smaller sites often seen around the place, like as part of a farm or just a tranquil area with 3 or 4 caravans on it.
Most of my caravanning trips will be midweek
The two most important aspects for me for a site are PEACE and QUIET 
I will be caravanning on my own generally with my well behaved
dog - and not to put too fine a point on it, I would prefer sites without lots of children running about on it.
I'm not anti-children (I used to be one !) I just prefer a quieter location without them
I'm very sociable & like to chat & talk with others - especially as a new-to-the-life caravanner.
I'm not overly bothered about electrical hook-ups. My caravan has been fitted with solar panels & an inverter and my tow setup can even carry sufficient water for 2/3 days without re-supply
The three main choices seem to be this Club and the Camping & Caravan Club or none and just go with the flow and ask direct at a location which looks nice (non-Club, just a farm, a few fields, whatever ....)
I'm not looking for things like insurance discounts - I've already found out that 'specialist caravan insurers' are more expensive than my own insurer (NFU) and glossy magazines aren't exactly a tangible benefit for me
I would greatly apprecaite any suggestions, thoughts or comments from those who have more experience than I; and thank you in advance for your courtesy should you choose to reply
