Noseweight

OK, so I'm relatively new to caravanning ( 4 months) and I'm posting this from Meathop Fell CC club ..... this is my 5th week away since getting this 'bug'

Today whilst hitching I decided to check the noseweight with the van in "loaded, ready to tow" configuration ( ie with all my gubbins loaded up, bedding, food, etc..

Despite having a heavy German Knaus and an amply powerful towcar I was surprised to find that my noseweight was just 50.2 kg

This got me wondering - should I am to increase noseweight in certain circumstances ? I'd appreciate feedback from the more experienced ..... or should I just be grateful that the noseweight is so low ?
