I,m so depressed, I,ve just had to cancel my weeks holiday at the gorgeous Brora site , 240 miles is to far to drive with a slipped disc and my husband doesn't drive. Of all the hols we have each year this is the one we look forward to the most , nothing
but walking on the empty beach with the dog  sets you up for the winter but this year , in Scotland anyway it's decided it's still winter( grey skies , horizontal rain and  13 degrees ) 

My son on a break in London has just told me its 24 down there, lucky beggars.
