Threads vanishing.

We all know how a thread quickly disappears off the first page. Well I've just counted them on here and there are only 14 on a page and at the moment three of those are stickys. The PCv forum has 25 threads per page and that's despite very little traffic
compared to this forum.
Is it possible for the number of threads per page to be increased on here?
