This has been going on for years and I recall a documentary many years ago on this same subject where the cameramen and presenter were threatened by guns and rocks on both Malta and I believe Sicily. At this time the shooting out of the skies of migratory
birds was also done in Italy and Spain. All these countries are in the E.U. and by stopping this the E.U. could earn itself a bit of credibility.
