Last night we made the decision to go away for the Easter Weekend.  We had been holding off booking due to the weather.  We had 2 sites in mind.  Our preferred site was showing unavailable but the 2nd choice one was available.

As the weather forecast looks to be improving (slightly) I didnt want to risk ending up not being able to get on any of the sites so I booked our 2nd choice late last night online.

This morning, I phoned our 1st choice site on the off chance they had any pitches.  They said yes. So, I asked about the 72hr cancellation rule and she said it wouldnt apply as I was transferring sites.  However, I would have to ring the advance booking line to transfer.  The problem with that is that they are showing no availability. So, I cancelled my original site online whilst on the phone to her and she immediately booked me in.

Ive now had an email saying I breached the 72 hr rule.  I'm not particularly worried about the 3 strikes rule because we havent cancelled before and we only ever use cc club sites if we are booking last minute so it wouldnt really affect us in the future.  But, its bugging me a bit that  I have transferred my booking yet still classed as broken the rules.
