Costa Coffee price rise

Costa Coffee have announced that they will have to increase prices.......due to them having to start paying a more reasonable wage to their employees (as opposed to them having the wages topped up by tax-payers in the form of working tax credits).
This is a billion pound turnover company.......I suppose the directors and shareholders taking just a little bit less home wouldn't have been another option, would it?
