Folding solar kits

I know many of you have fixed solar panels but that isn't our preferred option due to payload considerations

Has anyone any experience of the folding panel kits.  We are thinking of getting an 80w kit, we're rarely off electric for more than a couple of nights but it would be great to be sure that we could cope.  Could we get away with less?
