Whale Elegance Mixer taps
I am having a problem with the bathroom mixer tap. It was replaced last year by a dealer, because the original one was apparently seize! Last week I noticed that the carpet was wet in the 'van, so I checked the tap and lifted it out and discovered that water
was leaking out of the hot side. The connections were fine, but it would not stop leaking. So, I duly went to a caravan dealer and bought a new assembly at the cost of £43.34! Got back to the 'van and fitted it.
The next day I noticed the carpet was wet again, so checked the new tap and lo and behold it was leaking from the same place! I dried it off, tried the cold tap side and it started leaking from the hot side again.
I have contacted Whale and they are testing a new tap and shipping it out to me, they cannot understand it either.
Has anyone had this problem?
