Carrying gas cylinders

Hi there,

can you tell me if it is ok to carry a small butane cylinder in the internal under seat lockers of my elddis autoquest motorhome, there is not enough room to fit it in the external gas locker once I have my 2 x 6 kg propane cylinders in there, I need the
butane for my campingaz stove so we can cook outside and I don't think the stove will run on propane,
