Satellite system choice, advice please

We have a roof mounted tv aerial on our motorhome but quite often we fail to get a signal especially in the Lake District, we are thinking of getting a satellite system but would like some first hand advice,

what is best dish or dome and what makes/ models would people recommend

or would we be better off just getting a pole mounted high gain tv aerial?
