green flag cover waste of time for larger vans

Hi everyone, this is just a warning to any caravanner with a van longer than 25ft. I recently broke down whilst towing, I knew the car was unrepairable and I called the green flag, but because my van was 26ft they would not recover me. They said that they
would take the car and passengers but not the van as it was over 25ft. So anyone with a longer van than 25ft and have cover with green flag make sure you check they will cover it or it could be a complete waste of money.

Why do the caravan club recommend them when they have restrictions like that. I now have rac cover that has no restrictions.
