Have -U- Re-upholstered Caravan Cushions

I posted at the beginning of the year how devastated I was when vermin had damaged the upholstered cushions in my caravan whilst in storage. At that time I didn't like the idea of having these professionally re-upholstered as firstly the cost and secondly
it might happen ( even though I have taken precautions against vermin  ) again.

Recently I was lucky enough to be able to purchase the correct material, to match the original, and my wife and I are now having a go at re-upholstering the said cushions ourselves. I wondered if anyone else had tried this, and if any tips could be passed
on ?
