Bailey Autograph Range - First Look
Had to take our van into the dealers today for some odds and ends to be done. We took the opportunity to have a look at the new Autograph range that replaces the Approach. The cab is now mainly black which I suspect is a bit of a Marmite choice although I and sure it would grow on you. However that is about the only negative I could find from a reasonably quick look at the range on display. Taking the exact replacement for our model there are a number of quite major improvements. The Alde heating looks to be a massive improvement on the old blown air system. With the exception of the bathroom all rads are hidden from view. I liked the fact that at the front of the living area by the cab there are vents in the floor which should make that area much warmer. They have raised the fixed bed by abou 3/4 inches which makes the under bed storage much bigger and they have also de-cluttered it giving a lot more room. There is now an underfloor storage space for two batteries. The front seating area is now slightly raised so there is much more storage under the from bunks. They have also improved the outside locker doors from the rather flimsy ones used on the Approach. All models have a from sky light over the cab and a new habitation door. But I can't afford to change!!!
