As the cost of membership with the club (also the CC&C)is being increased, it is now costing more to spend more on site fees. My philosophy was , them big commercial sites were too expensive, too busy and too commercial.     WRONG

Last year in September  I booked 4 nights with Haven near the Lake District, 2 adults, 2 grandkids,on a euro pitch @ £13 per night. Equivalent CC site in area £21:60 per night. In October I booked 4 nights with Haven near Berwick, same number of people
on Super Site @ £12:50 per night, Equivalent CC site in area £17:70 per night. Finally I have booked with Haven this May 4 nights in Scotland on Super Site, same number of people @ £8:10 per night (yes £8:10 ) equivelant CC site in area £23:10 per night.

As for being busy, NO, the same as any club site, only busy during school holidays. And as for being too commercial I would change this to convenient. in other words its there if you want it if not relax in your awning.

As a member of both clubs , membership is circa £45 each I am also now a member of Haven's Freedomtrail club which gets me 10% discount on all holidays and costs me nothing. You can also do your booking on-line as with the CC and CC&C .

Finally, as I like to get away with my motor home at least twice a month, you can imagine how much I am saving. Being a pensioner at least the CC&C give me an age concession discount something this club should look into
